Advantages of LED Lighting
- Better for the Environment and reduces energy use -When compared to traditional light sources, LEDs only require a fraction of the electricity to operate. Additionally, they create no UV rays and are free of mercury and lead.
- Last longer -LEDs can last 25,000 to 100,000 hours or more.
- Easier to operate – Unlike many fluorescent or incandescent bulbs, LEDs work perfectly with occupancy sensors and are not damaged with repeatedly turning them on and off.
- Instant on/off -LEDs turn on immediately unlike other lighting sources that have a long warm up time.
- Dimmable -LEDs have a diming range similar to incandescent (1-100%) so they are practical in just about any dimming situation.
- Variety of colors -With the latest LED evolutions, you can select LEDs in Kelvin temperatures between 2,700 and 6,500.
- Direct light in a specific direction – Light is not diluted by shining in unneeded directions.
- Can fit in small spaces – LED chips are small, which means they can fit in nearly any bulb shape and in even the smallest applications.

We have ceiling track lighting, and I used to have to get up on a 15 foot ladder to change light bulbs every day. Since Premier installed new LED bulbs at our location, I haven’t had to change a bulb (it’s really nice not having to do that anymore!)
