There are countless applications for lighting; turns out, we need it in every building to see! Having been in the lighting business for 35+ years, we have replaced and/or retrofitted lights in all kinds of applications, from your standard office or warehouse lighting to demanding applications like paintbooth lighting or hazardous location lighting.
Each particular situation will vary but there are numerous considerations for a given lighting application, so it’s best to go into it prepared so you have an idea of what to look for. For example, many dental offices have moved on from fluorescent lighting to 90+ CRI LED T8 lights for higher quality color rendering. Accurately conveying color is important in this application, so paying a little extra to retrofit to high CRI LED tubes versus standard 80+ CRI lights will result in better lighting in this environment.
