Energy Focus has made a name for themselves as an innovator in the lighting business, providing high-end flicker-free linear LED T8 lamps at a time when flicker issues were just coming to the forefront. Now they have developed EnFocus; the most affordable way to get dimming and/or color tuning when retrofitting your fixtures to LED.
How does the Energy Focus EnFocus platform work? It uses Energy Focus’ patented flicker free LED T8 tubes along with a new wall switch to control the lamps. No complicated re-wiring with a new dimmer or expensive wireless setup needed with this easy installation. Unlike most new LED control systems, the EnFocus system does not rely on a network/internet based control system, making it far more secure and reliable.
The wall switches and tubes come in dimming only (gray color tubes) or dimming + color tuning (green color tubes). There are 10 dimming levels to choose from while maintaining a high power factor and low THD, unlike traditional phase-cut dimming solutions that sacrifice efficacy. The color tuning settings allow for color temps of a warm 2700K all the way up to 6500K daylight+. This flexibility means users can create a human-centric lighting experience that falls more in line with their natural circadian rhythm, all at a fraction of the cost compared to other commercial-grade LED lighting systems. The star button will even save your favorite setup for a quick return to your default setting.
The EnFocus lamps come in 2′ 7W, 4′ 11W, and 4′ 15W. All feature an amazing 150 lumens per watt and flicker free light output even throughout the dimming process. 100-277V single-end wired only. The color-tuning (green cap) lamps as mentioned go from 2700K-6500K while the dimming-only lamps (grey cap) can be purchased in set color temps of 3500K, 4000K or 5000K.
