Customer Profile:

Capital Imports LLC is a family owned and operated Gourmet food distributor with over 30 years of experience. They supply independent supermarkets, chain stores and institutions with a vast selection of quality products.

Goal:

Capital Imports has a large warehouse for storing dry goods to fill any demand or need. The lighting in the warehouse consisted of continuous runs of 8′ 2-lamp T12 fixtures. The lamps and ballasts had been failing, leaving them with poor lighting and maintenance costs. Consequently they met with Premier Lighting to develop a solution that would improve their lighting at a reasonable cost.

Results:

As the picture above can attest, the light levels improved greatly on the floor with the new LED highbays installed and the 8′ T12 lights that had depreciated in output being taken out. The customer utilize rebates to pay nearly half the cost of the product and with the new LED fixture slated for 50,000 hours and a 5 year warranty, they were set to reach payback in 2 years.
