It has been a wild couple of weeks ever since Xcel Energy announced their Direct Install (DI) program. That’s how it goes when you start talking about free LED lights and free install! We have retrofitted thousands of fluorescent T8 tubes to ballast bypass LED T8 in that time span at no cost to the customer.
Time is running out on the program, but we are not at the finish line quite yet. If you are an Xcel Energy customer in Minnesota that averages less than 25KW on monthly bills, you may qualify for a free LED lighting upgrade (material and labor included). What’s more, if you are in the Xcel “green zone” in Minneapolis/St. Paul, even if your facility is doing more than 25KW a month you may be eligible.
