Goal:
With close to 1 million square feet of space and over 3,700 light fixtures operating 24/7, their monthly energy bill is more than a lot of other companies yearly energy bill. Add to that most of the lighting was controlled by breakers and wall switches with no variability in light output. Due to this, Imagine was looking to help minimize their carbon footprint by using less energy while trying to satisfy the lighting needs of everyone and the tasks needing to be performed.

Premier Lighting installed over 3,700 individually controllable fixtures. This allows for each fixture to be set at the desired output and only operate when they are needed without relying on someone to turn the lights off. In addition, the fixtures have daylighting capability to save even more energy in spaces with natural light. The estimated yearly savings is expected to be over $400,000 and as the system gets adjusted to user preferences it may save even more. Many of the users have their lights dimmed and some even have them off which will add to the savings.
