Community Dental Care Retrofits Office with 2×2 & 2×4 LED Retro Kits

Community Dental Care is the largest nonprofit Medicaid dental provider in Minnesota, providing a complete array of preventative, restorative and emergency dental services to a diverse community of individuals, families, and the elderly – anyone who needs care.

Goal:

Premier Lighting was called upon by the Community Dental Care of Maplewood to audit their building. Unfortunately the lighting within the facility was inadequate in many places due to a failing fluorescent system. The domino effect was beginning to take place with ballasts and lamps failing resulting in hard to keep up with maintenance. Premier Lighting had recommended retrofitting the fluorescent fixtures to new LED retrofit kits to improve the look and boost light levels.

Premier Lighting installed 2×2 and 2×4 center basket retrofit kits for an even light output and modern look. The location of the fixtures was not an issue so retrofitting them with a kit versus new fixture made for an easier install. The kits are also color and power-selectable, allowing them to fine-tune the lights in each particular area as needed. Massive energy savings were achieved to go along with the improved lighting system that is set to last for 5+ years! Rebates facilitated by Premier paid for a good portion of the project and the customer was very pleased with the results.
