Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Bookmobile began as a design and typesetting production house in 1982 and started offering print services in 1996. When your project comes to Bookmobile, it gets the benefit of thirty-two years of know-how.

Goal:

With lighting, sometimes you need to start over in a space. From a facility that was previously used as a print shop with areas of intense lighting and areas of little to no lighting, the entire building’s lighting needed to be reconfigured to meet their needs.

Results:

There were big changes with the lights at Bookmobile. The office lights were converted to 2×4 LED Retrofit kits. Warehouse aisles were outfitted with 8′ strips on sensors (see the video above for as an example of the sensors in action). Production area was lit with new LED highbays. Exterior wallpacks were converted to new LED wallpacks, and curved wrap fixtures were put in the bathrooms. The whole facility was now evenly lit with over 40% light level increase on average throughout. Payback was set for under 3 years.
