Located in Wyoming Minnesota, Precision Powder Coating specializes in powder coating custom fabricated metal materials with a 5-step process, utilizing their 5,000 sq. ft. production area.

Goal:

Precision Powder Coating had fluorescent T12 lamps (both 4′ and 8′) that were having issues with the existing ballasts failing and the lamps losing light output over time. Premier proposed a full LED tube retrofit of the existing fluorescent fixtures followed by a second-phase with some new LED fixtures to increase lighting around under-lit production corridors.

Results:

The final results showed that Precision Powder Coating was able to improve light levels by adding LED fixtures and still cut energy costs in half thanks to a complete retrofit of their T12 lamps. They also utilized a generous rebate to cover 1/4 of the project costs.
