Keystone Smart Port LED Light Motion/Photo Sensors

HID LED replacements have been around for years, but a common complaint has been lack of controls for these lamps. You will be hard-pressed to find a dimmable LED Corn Cob on the market even still. But this all changes with the Keystone Smart Port Light Sensor, which can be installed in conjunction with Keystone’s Direct Drive LED HID replacements with a simple auxiliary connection.

The Smart Port Sensors come in three styles; an LED Microwave Occupancy Sensor, LED Passive Infrared (PIR) Occupancy Sensor or an LED Photocell Daylight Sensor. Currently these Smart Port Sensors are compatible with the 80W and 100W LED HID Replacements from Keystone as well as all vertical-orientation models. The Generation 3 Keystone HID LED lamps will all be compatible with Smart Port Sensors.

The Smart Port LED Microwave Sensor provides motion detection and 360° detection through walls and objects. On-off functionality in addition to 20%, 40% or 60% dim levels. Ultimately, if no motion is detected, the lamp will turn to one of the following settings – 0%, 20%, 40% or 60%. With motion detected, the lamp returns to 100% output for the pre-determined hold time (30 seconds, 90 seconds, 5 minutes or 10 minutes).

The LED PIR Sensor works in a similar manner to the Microwave Sensor but it does not have the 360 Degree detection through walls and objects.

The Smart Port LED Photocell Daylight Sensor provides natural light detection with reaction lux options of 20 lx, 50 lx, 100 lx or 300 lx. This means that if the natural light levels are below these settings, the lamp will turn on for the predefined hold time (1 minute, 5 hours or 8 hours).
