This is a Circadian/UVC Fixture that has been popular in hospitals and assisted living facilities due to it’s ease of use and safety features. It can act as a standard light with either uplight, downlight or light going both ways. Color temp can also be adjusted from a warm 3000K to an energizing 6000K. With the UV Germicidal mode, it runs a blend of UVC (265nm) and UVA (395nm) LED light to effectively deactivating 99%+ of infectious bacteria and viruses within 10 minutes. The triple safety mechanisms are in place to ensure the user is not exposed to the UV. Aleddra also carries standard T8 Germicidal UVC lamps. These lamps come in 4′ T8, 3′ T8 or 4′ T5. Each of these lamps emit radiation peaking at 254 nanometers (UV-C). This specific color is invisible to the naked eye and harmful to be exposed to, so one must take care when operating. But 254 nanometer UVC technology has been scientifically proven to inactivate microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, yeast and mold, purifying the air in a given room.
