Customer Profile:
In 1907, Maud Borup began making candy in her home in St. Paul, Minnesota. With urging from family and friends, she opened a counter in Holm & Olson Flower Shop in St. Paul and soon was in business for herself. Over the years the business grew and created such a loyal customer base that standing orders were continually filled as new generations took over.
Goal:
The Maud Borup location in Plymouth had Premier analyze their lighting to see how they could improve light levels from their current setup with incandescents. They were also hoping to get a longer-lasting product that did not require frequent re-lamping.
Before: Incandescent Fixtures
After: New Pendant-Mount LED Flat Panels
Results:
The existing incandescent fixtures were retrofitted to LED bulbs, and Premier also added pendant-mount LED Flat Panels to provide even more light to the area. The flat panels provided evenly-dispersed light that eliminated dark spots, brightening up the facility and enhancing the look.
