In some respects, things in lighting are getting easier. Color temps and wattage equivalents are always a challenge, so what if you could get an LED A-lamp that could do it all?
GE Current just released the 93322361 LED/LC/DA19/9SC LED A19. Seems like just another part number, but this bulb is special! It has four different wattage levels on it; from 4W to 7W, 9.5W and 14W, so the lumen count ranges from 500-1600 lumens. This makes it an equivalent replacement for a 40W, 60W, 75W or 100W! Better yet, you can also choose the color on the lamp itself, choosing between 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K. Now 1-lamp can do these 20+ lamp permutations.
Making this even better, it is also California Quality/Title 20 Compliant, so it will come with the 90+CRI that people have come to expect with that criteria. The lamp is also dimmable on 120V line voltage on most current dimmers.
What if you need warm amber colors like those that a halogen or incandescent A-lamp put out? They thought of you too. The GE Current 93322367 LED/LC/DA19/9WSC is a similarly amazing lamp that has the same SpectraChoice technology but instead this allows you to choose between 1800K, 2200K, 2500K, 2700K and 3000K. It also has the LumenChoice tab for choosing wattage equivalent so you can go between 60W-100W equivalent on this bulb too, all while selecting the rare warm CCT’s.
