Triple Shift Entertainment is the largest owner and operator of bowling and entertainment venues in Minnesota. With 10 locations they are leading the next evolution in bowling and entertainment.

Goal:

With 10 locations of varying years in operation and sizes, Triple Shift decided to upgrade all of them at the same time to the most practical energy efficient LED lighting possible. By converting everything together the lighting will be similar at each location and they won’t have to worry about lighting replacements for years, meaning they can focus all of their time on their vision to become the premier destination for families and friends to create memories.

Results:

In addition to converting standard fluorescent and HID fixtures to LED throughout the interior and exterior, Premier Lighting upgraded all fluorescent black lights to ballast bypass blacklight LED tubes from Keystone. In many similar venues, entertainment lighting like blacklights get overlooked as they are not used as often, but they shouldn’t. This solution reduced their blacklight energy consumption by over 50% while tripling the life expectancy meaning they will be able to efficiently enjoy their entertainment lighting for many years to come. Over 100K saved yearly in energy costs with overall payback in less than 2 years and little to no maintenance for 5 plus years.
