One of the hottest selling lamps on the market for the last few years and continuing today are the Keystone LED SignHero lamps. If you are unfamiliar with them, they are LED tubes with the same R17d high output ends that replace high output fluorescent lamps such as F72T12HO/CW and F48T12/D/HO. If there is a fluorescent high output lamp, no matter the size, Keystone has an LED SignHero lamp that can replace it in either 180 Degree single-sided light or 360 Degree double-sided illumination.
On that note, recently we were contacted by a Dairy Queen rep that had single-sided 48″ fluorescent high output lamps and was interested in converting them to LED. The ideal lamp in this scenario is the Keystone KT-LED11T8-48P1S-865-D. After testing it out at one store, they decided to order in bulk to save money and convert the signs of several stores in their state with this lamp. - One very important thing to keep in mind when analyzing your current fluorescent lamps: an F48T12/D/HO lamp is nominally listed as 48″ but in actuality is around 45.8″. That is the case for all HO sign lamps so if you are measuring 69.8″, 81.9″ on your lamps, when you go to find the replacement LED Sign lamp it will be listed 72″ or 84″ nominally.
